Content Browser
The second section of the CMS is the Content Browser. Unlike the file manager which is simply an online file store the Content Browser is where you input the text and assign images to different parts of the website.
The biggest thing to remember about the content browser is that you are inupting and arranging data in blocks rather than specifically pages within the website. At the top level data is first organised in to a selection of categories. Under these categories that are data blocks and these data blocks can have sub-data blocks.
Data Block Navigation
The lefthand side of the content browser allows you to navigate through the data blocks. In the Navigation Tree you can double click to drill down through the data blocks.

As you double click into a data block the items under that block are shown below. As you drill down each level is shown with a different shade of blue.

At any point you can close a drill/branch by double clicking its parent item. In the above image to close the news stories double click the News Block.

As you drill down you will notice that a data block is highlighted yellow. This is the currently selected data block. To build up the structure of a web page content be exist in a data block or its sub block items. In the image above content about the news index would be in the highlighted yellow News block while the news stories and in the sub-data blocks underneath.
Editing a Data Block
At any point you can select a block by single clicking it and it turns yellow. You can then choose 'Edit Block' to see the given fields of the data block.

When you edit a block you will see the data available to edit in the 'Data Area'. Make your changes and the choose 'Write'. A green tick will appear once the data has been wrote.
Adding Data Blocks
Depenting of your website new data blocks are usually added as pre-defined templates. New data blocks are added by selecting the parent data block and choosing a template to add.

In the above image to add a news story you would click the News block so that turns yellow then choose the 'News Story' template to add. Due to the nature of the CMS systems Templates can only be added in the correct areas. It you are unsure of the template to add the blook at the sub-blocks of the parent block. In the type column you will see the name of the Template used in that section.
You can remove a given block by selecting that block and choosing Remove Block.
Warning
If you are removing a block ensure that you select the correct block. The remove block will remove that block and any blocks in sub-levels. If you want to remove a news story in the image above select the story and choose “Remove Bock”. Do NOT select news and then Remove Block as this will remove all news stories.
